Our space is wheelchair and pram friendly. Our toilet facilities are accessible. We have a fridge, microwave & sandwich toaster for people who want to bring snacks. There is also tea and coffee available. We also have car parking at our centre.
Social craft club
Join us for our open-table social craft on Tuesday evenings from 5.30pm to 8pm. Bring along your own craft project and supplies and come together with fellow craft enthusiasts to unwind, create and share in our weekly fun and casual craft session. Whether you’ve been crafting for years or looking to start a new hobby this is the perfect space to share ideas and connect with fellow makers.
Date: Weekly on Tuesday evenings

What to bring: Bring your craft project and any craft specific tools.
Cuppa Club - all women welcome
Have a midweek break with friendly faces and good vibes over a warm cuppa.

Book Lover's Club
Our book club is a welcoming space for women who like to process and talk about the books they’ve read. There is no set book to read and no pressure to finish a book on a fixed time schedule, its just a nice gathering of casual book lovers where we create new social connections and talk about what we loved and didn’t love about the books we're reading and have read.
Date: Fortnightly on Friday evenings (15 May, 29 May)
Time: 6:30pm - 8pm
Cost: Free
What to bring: Just yourself and some thoughts about the books you've started or finished, loved or hated.
DIY Workshop - Wooden Book Assistant with Cup Recess
Join our hands-on woodworking workshop and create your own clever triangular book and tablet assistant, complete with a built-in cup holder — designed to keep your place, support your device, and make reading or relaxing that little bit easier. Crafted from repurposed pallet timber, each piece is unique, sustainable, and makes a thoughtful handmade gift.

Time: 9:30am to 2:30pm
Cost: GWC Members $30 includes take-home book assistant. Non-members $90.
What to bring: We recommend bringing a pair of gloves along for breaking down the pallets. Safety glasses and earmuffs provided.

Volunteer wellness morning
Supported by Volunteering WA, as a thank you for the incredible work our volunteers contribute throughout the year, we invite you to a gentle, restorative Sound Healing session followed by light catering and time to connect with one another. Mats and pillows are provided. Participants may remain seated if preferred or if moving from floor to standing is difficult.

What to bring: Your own blanket and/or eye mask.

Frientimacy book club - all are welcome
Develop flourishing friendships with your local community. Over five sessions you’ll be reading Frientimacy by Shasta Nelson, you’ll get to explore her practical tips for deepening friendships. Join us for a friendship-filled book club and develop flourishing friendships in our local community.

Last year our makers market was an awesome opportunity to do some Christmas shopping and meet some of the local makers and small businesses in our community. So we're doing it again. Save the date and bring your family to join us at our makers market.
