At the Gosnells Women’s Collective, we love capturing moments from our activities and events. These photos and videos help us share our story and demonstrate the wonderful things we’re doing in the community. We may use these images on our website, Facebook page, annual report, marketing materials, or reports to our funding bodies (such as funding and grant applications and acquittals).
Your Privacy Matters
We understand that not everyone is comfortable being photographed or recorded. If you don’t want photos or videos of you or your children to be taken, please let one of our committee members or volunteers know. We respect your choice and will do our best to ensure your privacy is protected. You can read our privacy policy in full here.
Reporting Concerns
If you think someone is taking photos or videos inappropriately, please speak to a committee member immediately. We’ll take it seriously, assess the situation, and may ask the person to stop. If they refuse, we may contact the police and ask them to leave the property.
If there is any suspicion that someone is taking inappropriate images (including of adults or children), particularly in private areas like bathrooms, we will notify the police immediately.
Quick Action Is Best
If you have concerns, it’s always best to raise them with a committee member as soon as possible. This allows us to address the issue quickly and ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable.
Serious Matters
If we believe a criminal offence has occurred, we will contact the police for advice and support.
Thank you for helping us create a safe and welcoming environment.
